An average of 14 million viewers tuned in to see South Shields newest pop sensation beat Olly Murs on X Factor 2009 (winning 61% of the votes). Joe then followed up his truimph with his debut single ’The Climb’ which was originally sung by Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana.
